About This Role

This role is about being the operational bridge between a chemical import company and key Ethiopian government bodies. It suits a professional who is comfortable navigating bureaucratic processes—specifically in investment, licensing, and trade—rather than someone looking for a desk-bound administrative job. As a Liaison Officer at SATORI CHEMICALS IMPORT PLC, you will be the face of the company in high-stakes interactions, making reliability and composure under pressure essential.

What the Requirements Say About This Role

The implied profile is someone who does not just know the rules but knows how to get things done within them. This role demands a practical understanding of Ethiopian administrative systems, especially the Ethiopian Investment Commission and immigration procedures, rather than just a theoretical legal background. The employer is likely seeking a candidate with a strong personal network in relevant government offices, or at least the proven ability to build those relationships quickly.

How to Approach This Application

To stand out, emphasize any past experience where you successfully obtained permits, licenses, or visas for a private company. Your cover letter should not just list government agencies you know, but should describe a specific instance where you expedited a process or resolved a bottleneck. The employer will prioritize candidates who demonstrate both knowledge of the regulatory landscape and a calm, professional demeanor for representing the company.
