Protocol Officer / Service Provider
Consortium of Christian Relief and Development Association (CCRDA )About This Role
This is a short-term, high-stakes coordination role centered on managing official protocol during a major conference hosted by a consortium of Christian relief organizations. It suits a professional with sharp organizational instincts and comfort working alongside senior officials, diplomats, and VIPs. The role demands precision, discretion, and the ability to align event logistics with formal government and diplomatic standards.
What the Requirements Say About This Role
The job calls for proven experience—likely 1–3 years—in protocol, events, or liaison work, not necessarily a degree. The emphasis is on practical know-how: handling reception arrangements, seating protocols, and government coordination. The employer is seeking someone who can independently produce a protocol briefing document and maintain composure under the pressure of a high-profile event.
How to Approach This Application
Highlight any direct experience you have with VIP movements, diplomatic receptions, or official ceremony management. Mention specific instances where you coordinated with government offices or embassies. Since this is a short-term assignment (June 2026), the employer prioritizes candidates who are immediately available and can hit the ground running without extensive onboarding.
Who This Role Suits
Best suited for a protocol officer, event coordinator, or liaison professional with a track record in formal, high-visibility settings. Given the short duration and specific requirements, the role is likely moderately competitive—targeted at experienced local professionals who understand Ethiopian protocol norms.
