About This Role
This is a corporate insurance management role within a major trading company, not a sales or underwriting position at an insurance firm. You will be the internal expert responsible for protecting the company’s physical assets—primarily vehicles and equipment—against loss. It suits a professional who enjoys strategic risk assessment, vendor negotiation, and cross-departmental coordination rather than transactional policy issuance.
What the Requirements Say About This Role
The implied profile is someone who can bridge technical insurance knowledge with practical business operations. Candidates likely need strong analytical skills to evaluate coverage gaps and market trends, combined with the ability to manage relationships with external insurers. Emphasis on “monitoring” and “training” suggests the company expects you to build internal capacity, not just process claims.
How to Approach This Application
Highlight any experience managing a corporate insurance portfolio, especially for vehicle fleets or heavy assets. Emphasize specific examples where you negotiated better terms or improved claims turnaround times. Since Kerchanshe is a large trading company, demonstrating understanding of logistics-related risks (e.g., transport accidents, theft, cargo damage) will set you apart. Avoid generic insurance experience—focus on risk management outcomes.
Who This Role Suits
Best for a mid-career insurance professional with 5+ years of experience in corporate risk or asset insurance, ideally in logistics or trading sectors. Competition is moderate; specialized experience with vehicle fleets will give you a clear edge.
