Environment Health and Safety (EHS) Inspector to Implement Occupational Health and Safety Plan and Environmental and Social Management Plan (C- ESMP) during the execution of transmission line activities. Supervise, monitor, control and report compliance, mitigation and performance during construction works.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation of Occupational Health and Safety Plan & Environmental and Social Management Plan (C- ESMP) during the execution of transmission line activities with 100% compliance.
Ensure compliance with Corporate, statutory, and Project EHS requirements.
Conduct Safety Toolbox Talks, Job Safety Analysis and Risk Identification at construction sites.
Conduct on-site Mock drills, Local public awareness drives.
Conduct regular site inspections to verify EHS compliance on various Health and Safety aspects and reporting.
Participation in digitalized reporting mechanisms implemented in the project.
Any degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environment, Sociology, Ecology or relevant certification like OSH, NEBOSH etc.
3 to 5 years’ experience in Environment, Health and Safety supervision in construction projects.
Fluent in English and Ethiopian regional languages.
Prior experience in Transmission and Substation projects is an added advantage.
