About This Role
This is a ground-floor opportunity with a growing wellness brand in Addis Ababa, blending clinical nutrition expertise with modern media engagement. You will not only counsel clients but also create educational content for social media, making this role part practitioner, part health communicator. It suits a nutritionist who is comfortable on camera and eager to shape a brand’s voice from an early stage.
What the Requirements Say About This Role
The preference for a Master’s or PhD signals that the employer values research-backed authority, but the openness to strong knowledge and communication skills suggests they prioritize practical impact over formal credentials alone. They are seeking someone who can translate complex nutritional science into clear, relatable advice for diverse audiences — men, women, and children — and who is confident enough to represent the brand publicly.
How to Approach This Application
Emphasize any experience you have creating educational content — videos, talks, or workshops — not just one-on-one counseling. Employers in this space look for evidence that you can simplify science without distorting it. If you have a portfolio of short videos or written guides, include links. Also, highlight your ability to tailor advice across life stages and family contexts, as the brand serves everyone.
Who This Role Suits
Best suited for a nutritionist with 1-3 years of experience who enjoys public engagement and wants to grow with a brand from an early stage. Competition is moderate, but candidates who can demonstrate both clinical grounding and media comfort will stand out.
We are looking for a passionate, confident, and professional Nutritionist to join our growing nutrition and wellness brand. Our services will support everyone — men, women, and children — through practical, evidence-based nutrition guidance, healthy lifestyle support, and wellness education.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in nutrition, dietetics, public health nutrition, food science, or a related field. A Master’s degree or PhD is highly preferred, but we are also open to candidates with strong knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping people improve their health.
The role will include client support, nutrition education, wellness programmers, and representing the brand through social media content, including educational videos, talks, and public-facing health communication.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Professional, presentable, and confident
- A strong communicator
- Comfortable speaking on camera and appearing on social media
- Passionate about nutrition, health, and helping others
- Kind, patient, and supportive with clients
- Happy to see people grow, improve, and make positive lifestyle changes
- Willing to learn and grow with the brand
- Able to work with clients of different ages, including adults and children
- Previous work experience is preferred, but not essential for the right candidate.
- For this specific role, female candidates are preferred.
