About This Role
This role sits at the intersection of finance and commercial operations within a well-established FMCG company. You will be the financial gatekeeper for sales transactions, ensuring that revenue is accurately recorded, reconciled, and collected. It suits a detail-oriented accountant who enjoys working closely with sales teams and can manage the tension between moving product and maintaining financial discipline.
What the Requirements Say About This Role
The company is looking for someone who understands both accounting principles and sales processes. The emphasis on invoicing, billing, and receivables suggests they need a person who can spot discrepancies early and enforce payment terms without alienating the sales team. Mid-level experience here means they expect you to handle these responsibilities independently and advise on process improvements.
How to Approach This Application
Highlight any experience you have working in a sales or commercial finance environment, especially within FMCG. Emphasize your ability to reconcile large volumes of transactions and your comfort with ERP systems. Prepare examples of how you resolved a billing dispute or improved receivables collection—this employer will value practical problem-solving over theoretical knowledge.
Who This Role Suits
Best suited for an accountant who enjoys operational work and cross-department collaboration. Given the part-time nature and the company's reputation, this role is moderately competitive and ideal for someone seeking flexibility without sacrificing professional growth.
